Productive Process

The technical staff works in synergy with the customer to define the design specifications of the products (economic, dimensional, mechanical, technical and aesthetic specifications) in compliance with the required standards: CE, ISO, UNI, IP.
Throughout the process, all the technical and functional aspects of the product are taken into consideration (operating requirements, mechanical loads, contact with particular substances, assembly or installation systems) with the aim of providing an estimate that accurately reflects the project and is immediately usable for the design of the mould.

Through state-of-the-art machinery and equipment, Vecchi Srl is able to transform plastic materials into objects made to the customer's precise design.

Our R&D department is constantly engaged in researching new materials, cutting-edge technical solutions and new operating methods, with the aim of satisfying the demands of customers who need increasingly high-performance solutions.
The fundamental task of the Purchasing Department is to source new polymers and the latest raw materials while optimising procurement and production costs in order to obtain and guarantee a high quality product.

In our working method, designing means thinking, evaluating, imagining the workpiece in its final use. In order to achieve excellent results, our team of professionals assesses the feasibility of the required products before designing the moulds, profiles and blow-moulding materials for plastics.

At this stage, we work closely with the customers to fully understand their requirements, the intended use of the product, any regulations governing its distribution and the technical details necessary for manufacture.

The fundamental objective is the quality of the products made: the utmost care and attention is paid throughout the production process to ensure that the products supplied comply with the quality requirements of the customer, providing technical data sheets and traceability information on request.

The creation of prototypes allows the customer to understand the interaction and value of a product or service before proceeding with development and marketing.

Vecchi also follows the phase of mould construction for plastic materials. A single contact person makes it possible to follow the entire process from start to finish in order to guarantee the success of the finished work.

By means of operational planning, we establish adequate controls and tests for each individual project. The control phase takes place several times during production, using the latest in-line measuring and control techniques, thanks to high-tech machinery.

The start-up of the equipment needed to guarantee and fine-tune the extrusion die is systematically carried out at the beginning of each production batch.

The company has a production capacity of over 200 tons per hour of plastic profiles thanks to the use of more than 10 extruders on a total surface area of 3.000 sq.m and employs more than 30 people in various departments including the design office, mould production workshop, extrusion and finished product processing department^.

• Extrusion: 6 lines for profiles and tubes - 1 line for spiral tubes
• Blow moulding: 6 blow moulding machines
• Injection: 1 moulding machine
• Finishing: 10 product processing stations
• Assembly: 2 product assembly stations

In order to provide its customers with increasingly comprehensive solutions, Vecchi srl boasts a completely renovated department specialising in finishing and assembly of accessories:

• Cutting: from 200 to 8,000 mm
• Finishing: Vecchi also has a "Finishing" department where the products undergo the most varied and complex processing and the conformity at the outlet is checked. In this department, which is able to deionise products to guarantee the absence of impurities from processing, where required, holes, threads and deflashing are carried out by experienced and qualified personnel. Nel reparto, che ove richiesto, è in grado di deionizzare i prodotti per garantire l’assenza di impurità da lavorazioni, si effettuano, fori, filettature, sbavature tramite personale esperto e qualificato.
• Silk-screen printing: we print our customers' logos and graphics on flasks, beakers, shakers and bottles.
• Assembly: Vecchi is also organised for assembly and packaging activities. This department processes products that must be completed by assembling components supplied by customers. Therefore, even complex kits can be marketed to provide our customers with a finished product. In questo reparto vengono lavorati quei prodotti che vanno completati montando e assemblando componenti anche forniti dai clienti. E’ possibile quindi la commercializzazione di kit anche complessi per fornire ai nostri clienti il prodotto già finito.
• Packaging:Vecchi Srl can use any type of packaging proposed by the customer (cage, pallet, etc.) and is also able to provide ad hoc packaging, for example with bags or heat-shrink wrap, so as to deliver the item to the customer intact and without any defect in special boxes that guarantee the inalterability of the pieces.
